Essential Poses For the Beginner Yogi

Yoga has so many benefits not only for your body, but for your mental and emotional wellbeing. Some of the many benefits include increased flexibility, focus, strength, balance and greater tone to your body. It is so important to build a foundation to your yoga journey. So, for those that are new to yoga, we have made a list of the poses that you need to know (featuring our SLINKII warriors):

Warrior I Pose (Virabhadrasana )

Great for: Flexibility and strength.


 

Warrior II Pose (Virabhadrasana 2)

Great for: Balance and stability.

Great for: Balance and stability.
